Our partner agencies are working every day to address critical needs in our community - from helping children and young people thrive to supporting families toward financial stability and improving the health and well-being of our neighbors.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a good life: a quality education that opens doors to a stable career, enough income to support a family and plan for the future, and access to the resources needed to live a healthy life.

That’s why our work focuses on four key areas:

  • Financial Stability – Creating strong financial futures for every generation
  • Healthy Community – Improving the health, well-being, and quality of life of people throughout West Ellis County
  • Community Resilience - Addressing urgent needs today for a better tomorrow

 

Who We Help

The United Way of West Ellis County seeks to create a positive environment by providing opportunities for all to experience a better life. We support local organizations who advocate for our key building blocks of education, income and health.  In 2026, the UWWEC will award over $250,000 in grant funds to more than 25 area agencies that have a tremendous impact on our community.
