Ellis County COVID-19 Relief Fund

Support Ellis County Residents struggling in the economic wake of the coronavirus

As events are cancelled, sales plummet, and businesses shutter, our neighbors face sudden economic challenges. Workers are losing wages and tips. Kids are missing school lunches. Parents must choose between expensive day care or skipping work.   For 73 years, the United Way of West Ellis County has stepped up when the community needs us. Now, we recognize a looming crisis, growing alongside the one in health care. We expect community resources to be inundated.

The Ellis County COVID-19 Response & Recovery Fund supports residents who are struggling in the economic fallout from the pandemic. Donations will and support relief programs and services to help with vital needs. The COVID-19 Relief Fund also enables the United Way of West Ellis County to address the longer-term impacts of the outbreak and recovery.

A gift to the Ellis County COVID-19 Response & Recovery Fund is the best way to join the fight for the health and financial stability of local residents. 100% of the funds raised go directly to the Ellis County COVID-19 Relief Fund as UWWEC will absorb the administrative costs.

As social distancing becomes our new normal, a donation can transcend isolation and help support those most in need. Today, you can answer the call for compassion, for connection. In a time of uncertainty, you can share the gift of hope.
